The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, announced this Tuesday, August 27, changes in his Executive Cabinet, to \u201ccouple the strength of the Popular Revolutionary and Socialist Government of Venezuela.\u201d His first announcement was the ratification of the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThrough the Federal Government Council we will manage the resources for the execution of the projects prioritized in the Popular National Consultation,\u201d indicated Rodr\u00edguez after h<\/span><\/span>er<\/span><\/span> appointment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Likewise, after eight years at the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land, Wilmar Castro Soteldo leaves this entity and Menry Fern\u00e1ndez takes on this new task: \u201c<\/span><\/span>A<\/span><\/span> man who likes to walk and travel the fields,\u201d said the head of state while asking him to review the agreements made with the peasant sector and calling for the third National Peasant Congress.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eduardo Pi\u00f1ate was appointed to assume the Ministry of <\/span><\/span>People\u2019s <\/span><\/span>Power for the Social Work Process, while Magaly Vi\u00f1a assumes the Ministry of <\/span><\/span>People\u2019s <\/span><\/span>Power for <\/span><\/span>E<\/span><\/span>lder Adults, Grandfathers and Grandmothers of the Homeland.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Education portfolio and sectoral vice presiden<\/span><\/span>cy<\/span><\/span> for social and territorial socialism will be assumed by the Governor of Miranda <\/span><\/span>state<\/span><\/span>, H\u00e9ctor Rodr\u00edguez, <\/span><\/span>w<\/span><\/span>hile the university education sector was assigned to Ricardo S\u00e1nchez. Sandra Oblitas returns as rector of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of <\/span><\/span>People\u2019s <\/span><\/span>Power for Women and Gender Equality is assumed by Jhoanna Carrillo. Likewise, for the Ministry of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace and the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, <\/span><\/span>was appointed <\/span><\/span>Diosdado Cabello Rond\u00f3n:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Revolution <\/span><\/span>uses <\/span><\/span>the cadres it has. I returned to that ministry 22 years later. I was Minister of the Interior in 2002. And the <\/span><\/span>People\u2019s Power <\/span><\/span>Ministry for Habitat and Housing is assumed by Ra\u00fal Paredes, while the Ministry of Public Works is taken over by Juan Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00edrez.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It should be noted that the Ministry of Urban Agriculture is merged with the Ministry of Communes and is presided over by Minister \u00c1ngel Prado.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
