This Thursday in the ordinary session of the National Assembly (AN), the coordinator of the Venezuelan delegation that traveled to the Argentine Republic to investigate Operation Puma, deputy Blanca Eekhout, presented the report of the actions carried out with the authorities of that country.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Eekhout recalled that this special commission fulfilled the mission entrusted to them to request the Argentine authorities to investigate Operation Puma, sponsored by former President Mauricio Macri under the tutelage of the Department of State of the Government of the United States with the intention of executing a military action in Venezuela in 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n During the presentation of the report to the Plenary Chamber, the deputy Eekhout denounced that the alleged humanitarian aid that they intended to ingress into Venezuela in 2019, by land and sea, was covering up a multinational military operation to occupy territory Venezuelan with the Argentine Army at the head.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n She assured that the Argentine Congress has been receptive to the complaints against the <\/span><\/span>intentions<\/span><\/span> of former President Mauricio Macri to invade Venezuela through Operation Puma, and indicated that they trust the investigations carried out by the Bicameral Commission of the Argentine Congress.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n She pointed out that that country is even investigating the direct support from the then Government of Argentina for the coup against Bolivia during the presidency of Evo Morales.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Eekhout pointed out that the meeting with the bicameral, held in the city of Buenos Aires, was significant to fulfill the mission of carrying out the investigation and establishing the dialogue links that were affected when Mauricio Macri held the Presidency of the Republic.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n She also said that they held a meeting in Buenos Aires with the vice president of the Board of Directors of the Parliament of the Common Market of the South (Parlasur), \u00d3scar Laborde, and other parliamentarians from the regional bloc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n She expressed that they have worked with Parlasur and the Senate of Argentina to achieve the necessary unity and the strengthening of ties and assured that the Plenary of this block will deal with the issue of the re-entry of the National Assembly of Venezuela into Parlasur shortly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00abAmerica has to be a pole, and that will only be achieved if we follow the path of the permanent spirit of union and construction of the Great Latin American Homeland,\u00bb she commented.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n For his part, opposition deputy Luis Eduardo Mart\u00ednez expressed that he has no doubt that Operation Puma existed and that a large part of those responsible for these plans continue to operate in the country.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Deputy Mar\u00eda Ch\u00e1vez endorsed the report of the special commission on Operation Puma, and considered that this visit to the Argentine Congress allowed the meeting and <\/span><\/span>reconcilement<\/span><\/span> to consolidate the union of Latin American countries.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodr\u00edguez, said that they will continue to <\/span><\/span>unveil<\/span><\/span> the plans for the intervention of mercenaries in Venezuela during the years 2019 and 2020. \u201cHave no doubt that evidence will appear of what their purposes were.\u201d, he underlined.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Finally, Rodr\u00edguez submitted the formation of a special commission that maintains the investigation of Operation Puma and deepens it in collaboration with the Argentine Congress to the consideration of the plenary session of the Chamber, resulting in unanimous approval.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This Thursday in the ordinary session of the National Assembly (AN), the coordinator of the Venezuelan delegation that traveled to the Argentine Republic to investigate Operation Puma, deputy Blanca Eekhout, presented the report of the actions carried out with the authorities of that country.
