The first vice president of the National Assembly (AN) Iris Varela, installed the delegation of Venezuela before the Parliament of the Southern Common Market (Mercosur):<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00abIt is time for Venezuela through her institutions to make a presence in international instances,\u00bb she said during her speech broadcast by Venezolana de Televisi\u00f3n.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n She assured that the Parliamentary Commission will be chaired by deputy Iris Valera and by the head of delegation, Sa\u00fal Ortega. Likewise, she specified that there will be permanent commissions and a vice presidency, of which she assured the opposition parliamentarians will <\/span><\/span>be in<\/span><\/span> charge.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n She also explained that 3 deputies will participate in the External Delegation and in the Observatory of Democracy.
