En 1948 consigui\u00f3 su t\u00edtulo de Sociolog\u00eda (Bachelor of Arts) en Morehouse College (Atlanta), una instituci\u00f3n creada para afroamericanos.<br \/>\nTan solo un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, Luther King tuvo que lidiar con el racismo y la violencia que se ejerc\u00eda contra los negros en el sur de Estados Unidos. Uno de estos episodios fue el protagonizado por la afroamericana Rosa Parks, que se neg\u00f3 a ceder su asiento a un blanco en el autob\u00fas.<br \/>\nComo respuesta, Martin Luther King lider\u00f3 un boicot contra los autobuses p\u00fablicos de Montgomery. Esta protesta se prolong\u00f3 desde el 1\u00ba de diciembre de 1955 hasta el 20 de diciembre de 1956, cuando el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia de Estados Unidos declar\u00f3 inconstitucional la ley que exig\u00eda la segregaci\u00f3n en el transporte p\u00fablico de Montgomery.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>T\/RNV WEB\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"es\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"es\">Hace 51 a\u00f1os intentaron callar la voz de un hombre que se convirti\u00f3 en m\u00e1rtir para los pueblos que luchan por un mundo libre de violencia, Martin Luther King.
