The past May 26 was the release of US citizen Josh Holt and his wife the Venezuelan Tamara Cale\u00f1o, accused of espionage and violence, at the request of the President of the Republic, Nicol\u00e1s Maduro.<\/p>\n

Holt’s mother, Laurie Holt, thanked the Venezuelan Head of State for the release of her son, who, as she assured, is in good health.<\/p>\n

This action is part of the efforts of the Bolivarian Government to maintain a respectful dialogue with the administration of Donald Trump, said the Minister for Communication and Information, Jorge Rodr\u00edguez, at a press conference held from Miraflores Palace.<\/p>\n

The release of Holt and Cale\u00f1o takes place thanks to a measure of full freedom benefit issued by the Judiciary Power, after evaluating a request made by the Commission for Truth, Justice, Peace and Public Peace of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
