Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) informed this Wednesday to the country that it is currently negotiating with the United States for the sale of oil volumes, within the framework of the existing commercial relations between the two countries.
The communiqué indicates that this process is being carried out under schemes “similar to those currently in place with international companies, such as Chevron, and is based on a strictly commercial transaction, with criteria of legality, transparency, and benefit for both parties.»
In this regard, PDVSA reaffirms its commitment «to continue building alliances that promote national development for the benefit of the Venezuelan people and contribute to global energy stability.»
