National Meeting on Communal Economy was led by Acting President Delcy Rodríguez

From the Poliedro de Caracas (Caracas’s Polyhedron), the Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led the National Meeting on Communal Economy, where approximately 10,000 commoner men and women from across the country were showcasing their products.

This great grassroots mobilization demonstrates the productive capacity of Venezuela’s regions, where are being developed Enterprises of Social Property and Family Units, based on a design that organizes national production according to its territorial and strategic vocation.

In this regard, it is important to highlight that the key objectives for boosting the communal economy are the following:

– Productive Independence and Exports

– Regional Identity

– To Visibilize

– To Strengthen

– Generating Alliances

At the National Meeting on Communal Economy are participating 100 exhibitors, who will present their experiences and strengths in five key areas:

– Primary Agri-food Sector: Planting, livestock, and fishing.

– Agro-industrial Transformation: Mills, sugar mills, processing and packaging plants.

– Communal Services: Logistics, transportation, telecommunications, and Communal Banks.

– Appropriate Technology: Traditional irrigation, alternative energy sources, and adapted tools.

– Direct Marketing: Fairs, fixed points of sale, CLAP deliveries, and digital sales.

Therefore, it is important to emphasize that this event will not only have the support of the Ministry of People’s Power for Communes, Social Movements, and Urban Agriculture, but also the collaboration of the entire National Government, integrated into the transformation process towards the Communal State.
