The Acting president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, made a call on the country’s youth to join the Program for Democratic Coexistence and Peace through youth volunteering.
«I want to invite the youth, students and workers to join the Program for Democratic Coexistence and Peace through the youth volunteering so that, from our differences, from our divergences, from our political and ideological pluralism, we can meet together,» she expressed during a message addressed to this sector of the country.
Rodríguez noted that the goal of the program is to strengthen spaces for dialogue among young people from different sectors, promoting active participation in community initiatives and the development of collective solutions. She indicated that the diversity of perspectives is a value that should be channeled toward peace and coexistence.
During her intervention, she stated her aspiration for the Venezuelan youth to maintain a deep connection with national history and with the country: “I aspire for the youth to deeply love our history, to deeply love Venezuela,” she said, while emphasizing the importance of defending identity and sovereignty.
The Acting President made a call on youth to embrace a national commitment inspired by the values of independence. She recalled the words of leader José Félix Ribas and affirmed: “Venezuela cannot choose between victory or death; Venezuela must overcome!”
She noted that this historical mandate must be expressed today through national unity and in the active participation of the new generations.
Rodríguez concluded that youth has a decisive role in the defense of the Republic and in building the future, and reiterated her call to join the program and strengthen youth organization in the name of the Homeland.
